Terms & Conditions

The terms on which we sell products through this website. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by anything on this page.

We are not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is charged on our prices and no VAT number is shown. If that changes we will update this page and show the number here.

How a contract is formed

Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract exists once we send you an order confirmation. If we cannot fulfil an order — for example because an item is unavailable or a price was displayed in error — we will tell you and refund any payment in full.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include any applicable taxes. We are not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is added.

Payment is taken at checkout through Stripe or PayPal. We do not receive or store your full card details; those are handled by the payment provider.

Delivery

We deliver within the United Kingdom. Delivery cost is calculated at checkout.

Several of our items are decorative pieces produced to order rather than held in stock, so lead times vary by item. We confirm the expected dispatch window in your order confirmation. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, where no period is agreed we will deliver without undue delay and within 30 days of the contract.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

Your right to cancel

If you are a consumer you have a statutory right to cancel most online orders within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. Full details, including the important exception for bespoke and made-to-order items, are on our Returns & Cancellations page.

Faulty or misdescribed goods

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If they are not, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund depending on the circumstances and on how long you have had the item. These rights are in addition to the cancellation right above, and we cover return costs for faulty or misdescribed goods.

Liability

We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Nothing on this page affects your statutory rights.

Installation and project work

These terms cover products bought through the online shop. Renovation, decorating and finishing work is quoted and contracted separately following a site survey, and is not sold through this website.

Governing law and complaints

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.

If something has gone wrong, contact us at contact@imperialluxuryprojects.com and we will respond within one working day.
